Description ::
Handmade basket by Purepecha Indian women near Lake Patzcuaro. Very attractive and sturdy, this basket with lid is made from "chuspata" or tule reeds. It was originally made to hold tortillas, but can be used to store jewelry or other keepsakes. It features a woven handle on top.
