Four master craftswomen of Michoacán are featured here, artisans who are not only creating extraordinary art, but are changing the role of women in their families and indigenous communities of Michoacán. You will meet Zenaida Rafael Julian, clay sculptor of Ocumicho, Herlinda Morales Jeronimo, maker of black candelabras of Santa Fe de la Laguna, Teofila Servin, embroiderer of Santa Cruz, and Martina Navarro, maque artesana of Uruapan.
